This plastic support, or dog point set screw, is used to keep the backgauge from rubbing on the table in some models of Dexter Lawson paper cutters. Original part number LC-2249. Made of Delrin plastic. Measures 2-1/2″ long with a 5/8-18 thread. Each support slider comes with a zinc plated steel jam nut.
