Guide shaft or guide rod for the center of the pull arm on Polar 78 E, 78 S, 78 ES, 78 ED, 78 X, 78 XS, and 78 XT paper cutters. (271263 and 271263a) This 10mm diameter alignment rod fits up through the center of the pull arm to prevent it from flapping around and causing damage when the shear bolt breaks. It is made from centerless ground drill rod for maximum toughness. Overall length is approximately 9 1/4″ long (235 mm long). This rod uses a set screw for mounting in the lower arm.
