- Q:How do you install the leaf spring for the 2005 Chrysler Town & Country? Posted by Customer
- A:To install the leaf spring, assemble the front spring mount to the front of the spring eye and install the pivot bolt and nut. Raise the front of the spring and install the spring mount bolts, tightening them securely. Install the rear of the spring onto the rear spring shackle and install the shackle plate, but do not tighten the nuts yet. Position the lower leaf spring isolator and raise the axle assembly into position with the axle centered under the spring locator post. Install the axle plate bolts and tighten them. Finally, install the shock absorber bolts, lower the vehicle to the floor with the full weight on the wheels, and tighten all components.Posted by MoparPartsGiant Specialist
